The Coalition government has stepped up its process of decentralisation and devolution of power to local authorities and their communities. Local authorities will have the liberty to make decisions about allocation of resources free from central government guidelines. An increasing role for the VCS to deliver public services is expected. VCS organisations are expected to have a key role to play in identifying needs as well as delivering services. EMFAN appoints project evaluator

One East Midlands has recently appointed South West Forum to undertake an independent evaluation of the EMFAN project to assess the impact of the project over the last 3½ years and to see if we have managed to achieve the outcomes and outputs we set out to achieve as part of our BIG Lottery BASIS proposal.

Children in Need information workshop
