One East Midlands aims to keep the voluntary and community sector informed about these changes and where possible contribute to policy and strategy development.

This event on Thursday 19 March from 10am to 4pm in Derby City Centre, builds upon the success of the Better Data events delivered last year, is designed to support third sector organisations to access a range of free and readily available public health data sources to build business cases for the provision of community based health and wellbeing services.

This event, which builds upon the success of the Better Data events delivered last year, is designed to support third sector organisations to access a range of free and readily available public health data sources to build business cases for the provision of community based health and wellbeing services. The event will include contributions from speakers representing Public Health England, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Local Authorities and the Third Sector.

Update on Involvement

Views sought on data sharing guidance

NHS England, as part of the Information Governance Alliance, has worked with Government to develop data sharing guidance for health and care professionals.

New alliance in social care and health

A major new alliance, the Coalition for Collaborative Care, which is committed to improving care and support for people with long-term conditions, was launched on 21 November.
