Background

The need for third sector organisations to develop effective business cases to secure funding to provide vital services has perhaps never been greater. For many organisations it can be difficult to know what external resources are available to complement their own knowledge and intelligence of specific local health and wellbeing needs, and how such resources can best be utilised.

For organisations to function effectively in such an environment it is becoming increasingly important to utilise a range resources in order to illustrate a compelling evidence base of need within a business case or fundraising application.

Target audience

  • Third sector providers with an interest in enhancing the health and wellbeing of local communities
  • Infrastructure organisations and development agencies working across the third sector
  • Fundraising specialists, consultants and business development professionals working within the third sector
  • Commissioners of third sector providers
