Manifesto for children, young people and families

Children England has launched a new manifesto writing process ahead of the 2015 general election.

The manifesto, which will be written collaboratively with their members, will focus on the following key areas:

  • Overarching (covering cross-cutting issues such as childhood, poverty, rights);
  • Schools;
  • Health;
  • Families and family life;
  • Early years;
  • Youth;
  • Justice;
  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities;
  • Looked after children;
  • Benefits and housing; and
  • Refugees and Migrants.
