Disability Rights UK launches 'Get Yourself Active' pilots (including Leicester)
Disability Rights UK is in partnership with Sport England to increase the number of disabled people playing sport or to access sporting opportunities. They are particularly keen to explore ways to help disabled people on personal budgets. The pilots will take place in Leicester, Cheshire and Norfolk.
Get Yourself Active is the new name for the Sport England funded project around improving access to sport and physical activity.
Disability Rights UK want you to tell them what’s your PB? What does it mean to you? Personal best? Personal budgets?
This will mean different things to different people but if you are on twitter use #WhatsYourPB to say what your PB is. Alternatively you can email leanne.wightman@disabilityrightsuk.org
The project is still in the early stages. For more information on the project, visit the website: http://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/how-we-can-help/get-yourself-active
