Association for Young Peoples Health (ayph) - Commissioning effective primary care services for young people briefing

The Association for Young Peoples Health (ayph) have published a briefing on Commissioning effective primary care services for young people for Clinical Commissioning Groups, local authorities, Health and Wellbeing Boards and others to encourage commissioning of voluntary sector services.

This briefing is aimed at policymakers, commissioners and funders, including independent funders with an interest in health and health-related services for young people up to 25 years.

Its purpose is to support improvements in young people’s access to Primary Care services through improving collaboration and integrated working between GPs and voluntary youth sector organisations, particularly Youth Information, Advice and Counselling Services.
