U. Selling to and contracting with the public sector
Your trading may be selling your products or services to the public sector. This would include tendering for and gaining a contract through a competitive process, potentially being contracted directly for a small piece of work or selling products on a one off or regular basis.
Before you sell to the public sector you need to understand what they are looking for and ensure that you are able to deliver these. They will want to see that you are a robust and financially sound organisation as well as being able to deliver the services and outputs or goods to their specifications and on time.
