Programme Manager vacancy at The Mighty Creatives

The Mighty Creatives, the young people’s creative development agency for the East Midlands, are recruiting for the post of full-time Programme Manager – Work Based Learning to join their team of experienced professionals and help deliver their ambitions.

Based in Leicester, on a salary of £28,313 plus contributory stakeholder pension and on a fixed term contract until 31 May 2015, the Programme Manager – Work-Based Learning will be responsible for ensuring that TMC delivers new, exciting and relevant vocational education and training programmes for young people, ensuring organisational strategies and systems are in place at TMC and across the arts and cultural sector, helping young people reach their potential. Delivered in partnership with a wide range of organisations and agencies, these activities will relate to wider government and cultural agendas.

The successful candidate will be a change-maker, making TMC a great organisation to work with so that they can continue to produce outstanding creative programmes with, by and for children and young people. Their role will be to:

  • To manage, deliver and evaluate regional Traineeship, Internship and Apprenticeship programmes in collaboration with partners across the East Midlands, initially as part of the Creative Employment Programme;
  • To develop TMC’s strategies for Work-Based Learning for young people specifically for Apprenticeships, Internships, Traineeships and Volunteers in the arts and cultural sector and creative industries;
  • To lead the company’s development and delivery of HR and Quality Assurance Systems relating to Work-Based Learning; and
  • To contribute to young people’s involvement and influence in our work, helping to implement our Safeguarding and Participation Strategies within your areas of responsibilities and the pursuit of our mission and demonstration of our values.
