Take Charge

Take Charge is a partnership movement which aims to unite charities working with young people to ensure they are financially capable, enterprising and also employable.

The movement's aim is to empower, engage and enable young people to take charge of their money, take charge of their life and take charge of their opportunities.

One of the key objectives in the movement's first year is to establish a living State of the Nation Map to show the provision of financial education and enterprise education initiatives across the UK in a diverse range of settings. The map also aims to identify the skills, attitudes, knowledge and understanding that these initiatives arm young people with in order to make them financially capable, enterprising and employable.

Voluntary sector organisations providing financial education or enterprise education initiatives to young people in the UK are now being invited to populate the living map and help provide as complete a picture as possible.
