Social investment and outcomes reports

The Young Foundation, working as part of the Catalyst Consortium, has published two new reports on social investment and implementing outcome approaches in the youth sector.

From Growing Interest to Interest Grown: Is the youth sector ready for social investment? argues that, whilst much of the youth sector recognises the potential of social investment, many organisations can not yet be considered investment ready. The report summarises the learning from 18 months' work with over 350 youth sector organisations.

Noticing the Change - a Framework of Outcomes for Young People in Practice documents the experience of three youth sector organisations, Brathay Trust, the British Red Cross and London Youth in piloting an outcomes approach to their work and makes recommendations for implementing this approach more widely.
