Update on becoming a BIG Assist programme provider

The BIG Assist programme will work to deliver quality support to VCS infrastructure organisations, both local and specialist, across England. Delivery of this support will be by quality suppliers, who will be approved by an Independent Review Panel.

Suppliers who apply prior to 15 October 2012 will be submitted to the first meeting of the Panel, which is scheduled for the week beginning 22 October 2012. They will then be informed of the outcome of their application after that.

If you wish to be considered to become an approved Assist Supplier you will need to be able to:

  • Evidence experience of delivering support to voluntary and community organisations
  • Evidence a good track record as well asĀ financial stability
  • Demonstrate delivery of quality support in the areas of strategy, planning and managing change; financial stability; innovation, new products and ways of working; marketing and building strategic relationships; and supporting and developing people and organisational culture.

The BIG Assist Programme is looking to approve suppliers with experience of providing support in these areas through such services as consultancy, training, coaching and e-learning.
