New health ministerial team

Jeremy Hunt has been appointed Secretary of State for Health following the Government’s reshuffle. He is MP for South West Surrey and was previously Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport.

His team consists of three new health ministers, including one MP from the East Midlands, who join Lord Howe who remains as health minister in the Lords. They are Norman Lamb, Minister of State, Dr Daniel Poulter, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, and Anna Soubry, Conservative MP for Broxtowe, also Parliamentary Under Secretary of State.
