Young people and wellbeing

The Office for National Statistics has published Measuring National Well-being - Young People's Wellbeing.

The paper includes the first draft set of 29 headline measures of young people’s wellbeing and the reasons for their selection across seven of the ten domains used in the national set.

The Office for National Statistics has also published a draft set of 24 measures of national wellbeing for children aged 0 to 15, which can be downloaded at www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/wellbeing/measuring-national-well-being/children-s-well-being--2014/rpt---children-s-well-being-2014.html.

Both draft sets of measures cover personal wellbeing, relationships, health, what children and young people do and where they live, personal finance, education and skills.
