D2N2 Future ESIF Calls – position update October 2016

Following the communication from HM Treasury and a further update from the Chancellor last month, D2N2 have continued to plan and prepare future calls under the 2014-20 ESIF programme.  This planning currently extends to activity up to 2021.  This planning does not guarantee that activity will take place but all stakeholders, including Managing Authorities (DCLG, DWP and DEFRA) continue to plan on the basis that it may.

Building Better Opportunities

One East Midlands, on behalf of the Big Lottery Fund in the D2N2 LEP area, is raising awareness within the voluntary and community and social enterprise sector of the opportunities available through the European Social Fund.

Social Inclusion Consortium post-event page 7/5/15

The voluntary sector collaboration for the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership Area – the Social Inclusion Consortium – was launched in February.

The announcement has been very positively received by voluntary sector organisations working across the D2N2 area, many of whom are keen to work within a local, voluntary sector led consortium to deliver the key outcomes required by the LEP.
