Young people’s ‘Getting by’ surveys on gender and emotional and mental wellbeing

NCB is seeking views from young people aged 13-24 on ways of dealing with stressful or difficult things in life – in particular, how ideas about gender affect this.

Young people are invited to complete a short survey or a longer survey, with a prize draw for each. Contact Emily Hamblin at ehamblin@ncb.org.uk for details or to use the survey framework in your face-to-face work.

Please promote the surveys to young people, and share NCB’s tweets and Facebook posts.

We’ve also been gathering practice examples from organisations doing gender-sensitive work with children, adolescents or young adults (see call for examples). If you know of any good ones, please let me know or encourage colleagues to contact me at ehamblin@ncb.org.uk. The work need not be gender-specific but should purposely take account of gender in planning and delivery. Examples relating to girls and young women are particularly welcome
