North Norfolk CCG - Free information and advice on dementia

Being told that you or a loved one has dementia can be a traumatic and worrying time.

To help patients and their carers cope with the life-changing impact of dementia, North Norfolk CCG has got together with a number of other organisations to produce a virtual information pack.

North Norfolk and rural Broadland have many organisations working in the community that can offer advice and support on caring for someone with dementia and  the free information available to dementia patients and their carers includes: An NHS guide for people newly diagnosed with dementia in North Norfolk or rural Broadland

The aim is to signpost people to the wide range of free help and support available following diagnosis and to provide answers to the most commonly asked questions.

This also forms part of the work that has been taking place for the past three years in North Norfolk and rural Broadland within the Living Well With Dementia (LWWD) programme.
