NHS Citizen Gather

NHS Citizen Gather is a place on the NHS Citizen website where you can raise issues and ideas about how the NHS in England can improve. The Gather, starts the journey to the next NHS Citizen Assembly in November, where five issues from Gather will be discussed by citizens and the NHS England Board.

Visit NHS Citizen Gather today to take part in NHS England decision making.

How it works
NHS Citizen Gather is a place for everyone to talk about how the NHS in England can improve:

  • Start discussions on how the NHS can improve by posting ideas and suggestions
  • Join discussions and comment on what other people are saying
  • Later you will be able to vote to support the discussions you think are important

You will be able to take part in NHS Citizen Gather up to 11th of September 2015. A Citizens’ Jury will then choose five issues to go to an NHS Citizen Assembly meeting in November 2015 to be discussed by citizens and most senior NHS leaders.

More on NHS Citizen

NHS Citizen gives you a voice in how the NHS in England is run.

Everyone can use NHS Citizen to talk about healthcare issues directly with citizens and the NHS. Everyone will be able to see and take part in these conversations and discuss how to improve our healthcare service.

Some conversations started on NHS Citizen will be discussed by the most senior managers in NHS England and citizens at an Assembly twice a year.

Why?

The NHS makes decisions about health services that can affect us all. If more people with different perspectives and experiences are talking to the NHS then it can make decisions that are better for us all.
