Social Inclusion Consortium post-event page 7/5/15

The voluntary sector collaboration for the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership Area – the Social Inclusion Consortium – was launched in February.

The announcement has been very positively received by voluntary sector organisations working across the D2N2 area, many of whom are keen to work within a local, voluntary sector led consortium to deliver the key outcomes required by the LEP.

The Social Inclusion Consortium aims to provide a vehicle for local organisations to deliver local solutions to meet the needs of local people in line with the targets and priorities identified by the LEP. With that aim at their core, the Social Inclusion Consortium ran an event on Thursday 7 May at the Newstead Centre to provide attendees with up-to-date information about the process involved in bidding for European Funding, and the requirements on an organisation if it is involved in delivering a successful bid.

If your organisation is interested in being part of the Social Inclusion Consortium then please contact the lead members of the Consortium
