The mental health charity, Young Minds, has published a report based on a consultation with 5,600 young people between October 2013 and May 2014. The identifies five main areas of concern to young people, which are bullying, stress at school, sexual pressure, no work, and lack of access to help. Barnardo's has obtained figures, following a Freedom of Information request to all 152 English local authorities, which show that over half of local authorities in England are placing young people leaving care in sometimes dangerous and frightening environments for long periods of time.
