Guidance for non-party campaigners

The Electoral Commission has produced guidance for individuals and organisations, including the VCS, which campaign in the run up to elections but do not stand as political parties or candidates.

The rules for non-party campaigners at the UK Parliamentary general election due to be held on 7 May 2015 have been changed by the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014. The new rules will come into force on 19 September 2014.
