Two new impact measurement tools

Two new impact measurement tools, Measuring Up! and the Inspiring Impact Hub, have been launched by the Charities Evaluation Service at an event attended by Minister for Civil Society, Nick Hurd.

Measuring up! is an online step-by-step self-assessment tool that aims to helps charities and social enterprises review and improve their impact practice.

The tool can be used by those who have just begun thinking about their impact or who have some experience and want to improve. It provides users with an accurate and detailed picture of where their impact practice is going well, and where it could be improved. Completing the self-assessment will generate a report outlining your strengths and weaknesses across each area.

Created by the Charities Evaluation Service as part of their work with Inspiring Impact, the tool can be accessed at http://inspiringimpact.org/measuringup.

The second tool, the Inspiring Impact Hub, allows users to down an action plan and search for resources and tools to help them improve their organisation’s impact measurement.

The tool, which can be accessed at http://inspiringimpact.org/listings, aims to be a one-stop shop for impact resources and tools, pulling together a wide range of resources relevant to improving impact practice, and enabling users to search and filter results according to their needs.
