Department of Health strategic partner programme extended until 2013

The Department of Health has announced that it is extending its £3.5million strategic partner programme, which directly funds 25 charities within 18 consortia, including One East Midlands through Regional Voices, to 2013.

Launched in 2009, the programme enables voluntary sector organisations to work in equal partnership with the Department of Health, NHS and social care to help shape and deliver policies and programmes. The programme provided funding of more than £3.5million in 2011/12 and will deliver the same amount next year.
