Stop Look and Listen campaign

NCVYS have launched the Stop Look and Listen campaign, a national drive to help create a safer sector for young people.

They are calling on all children and youth organisations to make 28 February the one day every year where organisations:

  • Stop what they are doing;
  • Look at their safeguarding practices; and
  • Listen to young people, empowering them to take an active role in managing their own safety.

The new national safeguarding campaign aims to inspire and encourage children and youth organisations to show commitment to improving their safeguarding policies and standards.

NCVYS are encouraging organisations to give the date of 28 February special significance by taking time out to work together on a range of safeguarding activities.

As part of this they want organisations to pledge their commitment to be part of a safer sector.
