Female genital mutilation funding guidance notes

The Home Office has been awarded €300,000 as part of the EU progress fund to tackle and raise awareness of female genital mutilation within affected communities.

As part of this work, it is making £100,000 available as part of a community engagement initiative, through which organisations can bid for a grant of £2,000 to £10,000.

Guidance notes and application questions for those organisations interested in applying can be downloaded from www.gov.uk/government/publications/female-genital-mutilation-fund-guidance-notes.

To bid for funding complete the online application form at www.homeofficesurveys.homeoffice.gov.uk/s/102092YMLRN by the closing date of 5pm on Thursday 6 March.
