East Midlands Safe Network Regional Meeting – 30 October

Safe Network is pleased to invite colleagues from the VCS and statutory partners, including health, police and other emergency services, to its free regional network meeting on Wednesday 30 October from 10am to 1pm at Nottinghamshire Deaf Society, 22 Forest Road West, Nottingham NG7 4EQ.

This network meeting will provide the opportunity to:  

  • Explore and get to grips with Safe Network Standards 2013/14 and the new Standards Xtra.
  • Take part in an in-depth session focusing on Children England / Safe Networks new resource Everyone's Business:Safeguarding for Trustees.
  • Network, share experiences or opportunities and identify support needs within your local VCS.

The regional network meeting is free and aimed at: 

  • Frontline children and young people’s VCS organisations
  • Local safeguarding children board (LSCB) chairs, business managers, safeguarding managers and lay members
  • VCS representatives on LSCBs, Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs) or Children’s Partnership Boards
  • Safe Network champions, supporters and key partners including those from health, education and leisure sectors.
