Faith in Enterprise Award Fund

The Faith in Enterprise Award Fund was launched at the Houses of Parliament on 9 May by Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

This national initiative of the Cathedral Innovation Centre and movement, housed at Portsmouth’s Cathedral House, has the support of the Archbishop of Canterbury and comprises a £200,000 fund of micro-loans of £2500 to £7500, backed up by access to mentors.

The fund is open to anyone aged 18 to 30 on a rolling basis from 9 May 2013 to 13 March 2014. There are additionally at least five Chairman’s Awards totaling £50,000 in value, comprising a free start-up office for up to two years, access to senior business mentors and senior level advisors from government and politics, a £1,000 grant, and an interest-paid loan of £10,000.
