An introduction to Corporate Fundraising – Post Event Page

This joint workshop organised by the Institute of Fundraising East Midlands and EMFAN (East Midlands Funding Advice Network) and which took place in Leicester on Wednesday 5 June, aimed to provide delegates with an introduction to corporate fundraising.

The workshop provided participants with the tools, case study examples and the confidence to explore corporate fundraising opportunities for their own organisation.

It covered key characteristics of corporate fundraising; company motivations; identifying organisations key selling points and how to package these opportunities; how to research for potential corporate partners; making confident approaches; and maintaining relationships.

This workshop was specifically designed for funding adviser’s, fundraisers, development workers, funding officers and anyone with a remit to provide advice and support to the voluntary sector or who has a fundraising role. It aimed to enable them to confidently provide sound advice to voluntary organisations on the various ways to raise money/resources from the corporate sector. 

The session was delivered by Tony Jenkin Jones, Project Manager at E.O.N. and Muna Chauhan a Fundraising Officer at Zoës Place Baby Hospice, both experts in this field of corporate fundraising.
