Religion, ethnicity and swimming

The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and Sporting Equals are surveying BME groups, both swimmers and non-swimmers, on the impact of religion and ethnicity on participation in swimming e.g. does religion or ethnicity impact prevent you from swimming or swimming as much as you like when you like.

To take part in the survey visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/ASA_Mar2013. When answering question 3 select Zoe Calder.

The ASA are also looking to visit local BME BVCS groups to survey members at any group sessions you may be holding. If you would like your group to be visited contact Zoe Calder on 07818 066 743 or email Zoe at data05asa@gmail.com A small incentive of a shopping voucher is available to participating organisations.

A national report on the findings will be released when the research has been completed to influence policy at local and national level.
