Evaluation of International Citizen Service

The Institute for Volunteering Research (IVR) has published an evaluation of the pilot stage of the International Citizen Service.

The aim of the pilot was for 1,250 British citizens to contribute to development through international volunteering and to generate knowledge to inform future youth volunteering programmes.

The evaluation explored whether the delivery of ICS's aims had been successful and has contributed a great deal of learning to the scale up of programme in the future. It found that the delivery of this ambitious pilot programme has been successful.
