Youth Justice Board
The youth justice minister, Jeremy Wright has announced that the Youth Justice Board (YJB) will be reviewed for the third time in three years.
The review will consider whether there is still a need for YJB to continue all its functions and if the current structure is necessary.
YJB functions that will be subject to review include its monitoring of the youth justice system, its advisory role to the Justice Secretary, making grants to youth offending teams, placing young people in custody and providing secure accommodation.
