Public Health England (PHE) has launched a new guide showing the benefits of involving recovering alcohol and drug users in the design and development of their own, and others treatment and recovery.


New resource to prevent linked suicides in local areas

Public Health England (PHE) has published a new resource to assist local organisations prevent linked suicides in their areas, often referred to as ‘suicide clusters’.


PHE, NHS Right Care and NHS England launch third Atlas of Variation

Public Health England (PHE) NHS England and NHS Right Care have launched the third and biggest NHS Atlas of Variation in Healthcare to help commissioners, service providers and health professionals deliver the best healthcare.

This consultation seeks views on proposals to increase joint working between emergency services, in order to improve effectiveness and deliver savings for the public.

The NHS Maternity Review wants to hear what you think is good about maternity services and what could be done to improve them


 Consultation on the role of the National Data Guardian for health and social care - Consultation closes 17 December 2015

This consultation seeks views on the responsibilities of the statutory National Data Guardian for health and social care. The responses will form a major part of the development for more detailed proposals to establish the National Data Guardian for health and social care on a statutory footing.


Realising the Value: opportunities to get involved

The Realising the Value programme is now moving into its active phases. The programme has published a discussion paper, ‘How should we think about value in health and care?’ and the programme team are now looking for comments on the paper from a wide range of stakeholders.

Resources available: Young people’s rights in healthcare.

The NHS Youth Forum have recently launched a series of posters for young people, focusing on young people’s right to consent, their right to complain and their right to comment and give feedback on the services that they receive.


Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care: A national framework for local action 2015- 2020

The National Palliative and End of Life Care Partnership, made up of statutory bodies including NHS England, the Association of Adult Social Services, charities and groups representing patients and professionals, has developed a framework for action in making palliative and end of life care a priority at local level.
