Progressing the D2N2 Social Inclusion Framework – Building partnerships CALL FOR DELIVERY PARTNERS

On 2nd April, One East Midlands held a workshop for potential lead partners of Building Better Opportunities projects in the D2N2 LEP area. The event provided lots of information about how the next phase is likely to work and issues that partnerships will need to consider.  You can view the presentation from the event here.

Following the event we are now taking formal registrations of interest from lead applicants and providing support to help them build relationships with potential delivery organisations.

To aid this process we will be hosting 3 networking sessions – one for each contract area.  The sessions will be held at Erewash CVS Granville Centre, Granville Avenue, Long Eaton, Derbyshire NG10 4HD in May on the following dates:

The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in being involved in a delivery partnership, not just those who have already expressed an interest.  Please forward this invitation to anyone in your contacts to whom this may be relevant but may not yet be aware of the opportunity.

Call for Delivery Partners – Invitation from the Social Inclusion Consortium

The Social Inclusion Consortium, led by local VCS infrastructure across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, is the first potential lead applicant to issue an open call for partners via One East Midlands.

The consortium aims to provide a vehicle for local organisations to deliver locally appropriate and sensitive solutions to identified needs. They are inviting all organisations interested in being part of the consortium and in delivery against the 3 identified Building Better Opportunities investment programmes for the D2N2 LEP-area to attend an event on Thursday 7 May at 10:00am at Newstead Centre, Tilford Road, Newstead Village NG15 0BS.

Any organisation interested in being part of the Social Inclusion Consortium is welcome to attend.

The session will cover all 3 programme opportunities and aim to:

Organisations attending will then have the opportunity to sign up to be part of the Social Inclusion Consortium.

If you are interested in getting involved please register your interest via the following link.  Please note that places are limited and going fast.
