Building Better Opportunities - consultation

Please read and respond to the One East Midlands draft briefing/consultation on the Building Better Opportunities fund, which can be downloaded here, by email to clairechapman@one-em.org.uk by Friday 19 December.

Implementation Plan – consultation response submitted

Following extensive consultation across two events we are pleased to report that a substantial VCS response to the D2N2 Implementation Plan has been submitted. A copy of the full response can be downloaded here.

Governance

At every LEP area level formal sub-committees of the national governing structure, called a LEP-area ESIF Sub Committees, are now forming. In the D2N2 area the VCS will be represented on this group by the existing VCS Board representative, Rob Crowder. However, a process to recruit additional specialist input on Equality & Anti-Discrimination has now been undertaken. The representative will be Matt Allbones of Derby Citizens Advice & Law Centre. Matt will be supported in his role by a named alternate; Michael Henry of Communities Inc.

We will be keeping you regularly informed of progress so please keep an eye on our website and the D2N2 page at www.oneeastmidlands.org.uk/d2n2lep for updates between bulletins.
