View from the Chair

I have been guilty of nodding sagely at the idea of allowing greater youth engagement and participation in decision making but then doing nothing practical about it. However my eyes were opened during a recent to visit to Youth Focus: North East in Gateshead where they have embraced youth participation and reaped the benefits from it.

So to avoid the ‘nodding sagely’ (the nearest I will get to mentioning Christmas) and doing nothing, I would strongly encourage readers to look at the Mighty Creatives’ ‘Young People Participation and Decision Making Training’ programme in Leicester and Derby which is detailed below (and there are substantial savings if you book early!).

Simon Worsley, Chair of EMVY, Part of One East Midlands
