Volunteering can give people the skills and confidence needed to help them find jobs according to the NCVO new report entitled Volunteering: a valuable pathway to employability.

Investing in Volunteers Quality Standard

Investing in Volunteers, the UK quality standard for all organisations which involve volunteers in their work, has been achieved by over 750 organisations.

vInspired cashpoint programme

The cashpoint programme (2012-2014) awards grants of up to £500 to 14 to 25 year olds to pursue social action projects and be responsibility for their design and delivery.

Volunteers in Specialist Palliative Care

Volunteering in Specialist Palliative Care is a new study provides the most comprehensive picture to date of exactly what roles volunteers are involved in within specialist adult palliative care in the UK.
