Reminder: Opportunity to inform and influence the migration agenda across the East Midlands

One East Midlands currently has a place on the East Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership board and would like offer its place on the board to an organisation in the East Midlands who has knowledge and intelligence of migration issues in the East Midlands, and who can help the board make informed recommendations to influence and shape policy/strategies relating to migration.

Our History - Our Story: Polish heritage in the East Midlands

The Our History – Our Story exhibition of Polish heritage in the East Midlands will take place from Friday 11 April to Saturday 24 May on the first floor of Nottingham Central Library.

State of Health: Black and other minority groups

The BHA has carried out a review of the evidence related to some of the major health conditions that are prevalent in Black and other minority groups, including cancer, mental health, HIV, diabetes, palliative care and dementia.

Race equality and health inequalities: Towards more integrated policy and practice

Better Health has published a paper arguing that within the English health system the equality and diversity, and health inequalities agendas remain poorly integrated at both national and local level.
