The Department for Communities and Local Government has announced £3million of grant funding to expand the Near Neighbours programme across nine new areas of the country, including Nottingham.
Nominations are now open for the National Diversity Awards 2014, in association with Microsoft, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of positive role models, entrepreneurs and community organisations across the UK.
Organised by FaithAction, Livability and the Mental Health Providers Forum, the Mental Health and Faith Communities event will take place on Tuesday 4 March from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the NCVO Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London N1 9RL.
This conference, taking place on Tuesday 15 April from 9am to 3.35pm at the Manchester Conference Centre, aims to raise awareness about mental health issues in BME communities, focusing on refugees and asylum seekers and mental health in later life.
