D2N2 Social Inclusion Framework refresh

In December 2016 the D2N2 Social Inclusion and Equalities Advisory Group (SIEAG) met to discuss approaches in refreshing the D2N2 Social Inclusion Framework.  Following extensive debate a position was agreed and presented to (and agreed by) the D2N2 Board in January.

The SIF refresh will take a broader view than the 2014 strategy; focussing more on embedding inclusion principles within the broader D2N2 Strategic Economic Plan and moving towards a generally more inclusive D2N2 economy.

Delivery of the revised framework is targeted for June 2017.  A steering group is now in place to shape and inform the process.

The next SIEAG meeting will be held on 2nd March.  If you would like any further information on the SIF refresh, inclusion activity within D2N2 or you’d like to get more involved in the refresh process please contact Rachel via the contact details above.
