New toolkit to support wellbeing of carers and families

NHS England has published a toolkit to help health and social care organisations work together in identifying, assessing and supporting the wellbeing of carers and their families.


New Integrated Personal Commissioning Emerging Framework

Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) is one of the pillars of the Five Year Forward View. The emerging framework is based on learning so far from the demonstrator sites and will evolve further as the programme progresses.


Learning Disability Quality Checks

NHS England has announced that people with a learning disability are to be asked to contribute to new tests which will help improve NHS services.


New Care Models and Staff Engagement: All Aboard

Thousands of people at high risk of Type 2 diabetes in ten areas will start to benefit from the first ever national NHS diabetes prevention programme in the next few weeks.


The art of commissioning: How commissioners can release the potential of the arts and cultural sector

Growing evidence highlights the contribution of arts and cultural providers to health and wellbeing, however, relationships with commissioners can vary. The Art of Commissioning shares this learning and makes recommendations for other commissioners.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are seeking 'Tell us about your care' partners for 2016/17 and have published an invitation to tender, inviting interested organisations to bid for this work.


***National Consultations***

Carers strategy: call for evidence - closing date extended until 31 July 2016

This consultation seeks views on a new strategy for carers that will set out how more can be done to support them.


***Regional Consultations***

Have your say on Derbyshire County Council proposed funding cuts to community groups. Consultation ends 24 July 2016.

Voluntary and community groups and people using their services are being encouraged to have their say on our proposals to stop their grant funding.


The NHS in North Derbyshire launches proposals for better care closer to home for more older people

Better joined-up care closer to home would become a reality for many older people in North Derbyshire under proposals at the heart of a public consultation


The NHS in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland seeks views on fairer, sustainable funding for Continuing Healthcare

Patients receiving NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding and their carers and families are being urged to give their views on making funding fairer and sustainable for all eligible patients across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Lincolnshire Health and Care Case for Change Report

Lincolnshire Health and Care is a partnership of 13 health and care organisations across the county working together to find ways of transforming services.  Proposals mentioned in Lincolnshire Health and Care Case for Change report include providing more care out of hospital with teams of health and care professionals that work together with the patient to deliver better care.
