Gender-sensitive approaches to addressing children and young people’s emotional and mental health and well-being

NCB is seeking examples of work that uses gender-sensitive approaches whilst protecting or promoting children and young people’s emotional and mental health.

Any examples submitted by 30 September would be greatly appreciated.

Examples may describe gender-specific or non-specific programming, interventions or practice in any relevant service or setting. Case studies will be developed and promoted through the voluntary sector and to the Department of Health, NHS England and Public Health England.

This call follows the publication of an evidence review exploring the role of gender in children and young people’s emotional and mental health. By bringing together research findings, young people’s voices and promising practice, NCB aims to support the children’s mental health transformation agenda outlined in Future in mind.
