Know your local economy to..... Access EU funding - Workshop 2

Registration is closed for this event

The Reach & Impact project are running two free half day workshops designed to help VCS organisations, funding/support advisers and development workers start to prepare and think about how they may take advantage of opportunities in the next EU Structural and Investment Funds 2014-20 programme.

The next EU structural and Investment Funds programme 2014-20 will be looking to fund key priorities such as innovation, research and technological development, support for small businesses, the low carbon economy, skills, employment and social inclusion

There are opportunities here for third sector organisations to develop and deliver economic projects, which could increase the number of people into work, create economic development and contribute to economic growth.  Third sector organisations also have a role to help redistribute economic power, reduce disconnection, reduce social exclusion and inequality, and vulnerability to economic failure in disadvantaged communities, through these projects.

The half day workshops will be run on the same day and you can decide if you want to attend both workshops, or just one.

Workshop 2

This workshop offers a step by step introduction to defining and measuring the social and economic impact of an organisation. It offers insight into applying a simple process to develop a social/economic impact framework for an organisation. The session will look at how to develop a framework, reporting process and system for measuring the social and economic impact of your projects.

This workshop is being delivered by Heather Black, Economic Change.
