One East Midlands, Social Inclusion and D2N2 LEP

One East Midlands has for some time done important work on Social Inclusion – particularly in the context of European Funding. From 2009 One EM worked closely with the East Midlands lead agency, CEFET, on the topic [CEFET archive, which makes very interesting reading in this context, is available through the Tools & Resources section of this website]. This collaboration had notable effect in the “2010: European Year Against Poverty and Social Exclusion” Project “All In One” [also in the CEFET archive].

The final One East Midlands annual event:  Legacy & Learning took place on Thursday 26th November in Nottingham.  Presentations and information from the event are now available on-line.

Building Better Opportunities

One East Midlands, on behalf of the Big Lottery Fund in the D2N2 LEP area, is raising awareness within the voluntary and community and social enterprise sector of the opportunities available through the European Social Fund.

Better Data: Applying public health data to build the business case for your service

This event, which builds upon the success of the Better Data events delivered last year, is designed to support third sector organisations to access a range of free and readily available public health data sources to build business cases for the provision of community based health and wellbeing services. The event will include contributions from speakers representing Public Health England, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Local Authorities and the Third Sector.
