Voluntary Sector "Pop up" sessions confirmed for the NHS Expo

It’s great to have such a voluntary sector presence on the NHS Expo programme – remember tickets are still available for ANY VOLUNTARY SECTOR organisation to go the NHS Expo for free… You can register for free at https://www.england.nhs.uk/expo/register-now/ using the complimentary code VOLEXP1.

  • Day 2, Pop Up Uni 6, 10-10:45: How technology and Apps can help drive people powered health and care, Sue Ryder, Men’s Health Forum
  • Day 2, Pop Up Uni 7, 12-12:45: Win-win situations in co-produced solutions with patients and (disabled) people taking the lead, Win-Win Alliance
  • Day 2, Pop Up Uni 6, 13-13:45: Working with the experts: Empowering disabled children, young people and their families to get the best out of the NHS, NCB
  • Day 2, Pop-Up Uni 8, 14-14:45: Choice and Voice – perspectives from the Voluntary sector, Age UK
  • Day 2, Pop Up Uni 3, 15-15:45: DevoManc: The relationship between health and housing in the new devolution agenda for Greater Manchester, National Housing Federation

Also secured for a main stage a session around the voluntary sector and the Care Act.  This will be on the Main Stage 2 from 3pm and is headed up by Duncan Tree and Jabeer Butt.
