NHS England Youth Forum grants to support youth involvement

NHS England is committed to involving patients and the public in their work. As part of this commitment, they are seeking to make grant awards across their four regions of operation to support the development of youth voice in their work. Grants are available of up to £25,000 each and the total funds available are £100,000.

For this programme of work NHS England is looking to build on existing local youth networks by supporting an additional focus on youth health issues.

Successful grant applicants will need to demonstrate how they will deliver a diversity of young people’s involvement in health issues in the region as well as partnership working with NHS England national and locally. As an outcome, successful projects will be able to evidence how youth involvement has made a positive impact on young people’s experiences of health services.

Grants are only made to charities and not for profit organisations. Grant applications from partnerships of several organisations are also encouraged.

The deadline for applications is noon on Monday 9 March. For further information, including how to apply and to download an application pack, visit www.england.nhs.uk/ourwork/patients/public-voice/yth-for.
