Voice4change England trustee vacancies, AGM and workshops

Voice4change England will be electing at least five new trustees ahead of their AGM on Thursday 4 December in London.

Prior to the AGM, on Thursday 4 December at 2.30pm, Voice4Change are running a free workshop on how to take over a building for community development or social enterprise, including how the process works and what financial support is available. 

Experts including Locality and Ubele, will provide practical advices followed by Q & A session, providing delegates with information on the resources necessary to achieve an asset transfer and what financial support is available.

This will be followed by a Lobbying Act workshop at 3.45pm, which will look at the implications the new law and what effect this will have on charity campaigning ahead of next years’ general election.

Voice4Change England will then host a discussion on child sexual exploitation in Rotherham and the VCS sector response with expert panellist including Zlakha Ahmed from Apna Haq and Vivienne Hayes from Women Resource Centre, followed by free snacks and refreshments.  

They will then resume at 6.30pm to 8.30pm for the Annual General Meeting which will end with a special keynote speaker discussing the ‘human zoo’ Exhibit B.
