Diploma in Public Service Interpreting Law

Mango Spice Language Academy, an organisation that offers translation and interpreting services, are running 18 week courses in Public Service Interpreting Law, starting in September 2013 and running until 2014 in Nottingham.

The diploma is aimed at voluntary and public sector workers who need to demonstrate bilingual competence or those who work or intend to work in areas requiring competence in English and another language.

Those who take the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting Law course will be entitled to:

  • Use the title DPSI after there name
  • Apply for full registration on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) 
  • Apply for membership of the chartered institute of linguists (MCIL)
