£9.5million funding and support to create neighbourhood plans

Locality is opening a new programme of support and grants, with £9.5million funding available to help communities create neighbourhood plans, on 1 May.

The Neighbourhood Planning fund and support programme will last for two years with groups will be able to bid for up to £7,000 each to help them produce their plan.

Further details of the fund and support will be available from 15 April at http://mycommunityrights.org.uk.

Locality will be delivering the new programme in partnership with Royal Town Planning Institute, Planning Aid England, the Community Development Foundation, Urban Vision Enterprise, Eden Project and URS.
