Resources and online learning

CLINKS, the national charity supporting voluntary organisations working with offenders and their families and the leading national SFC partner, are currently developing additional resources to support SFC networks, including your own, now that PCCs are in office.

If you have ideas for what resources would be helpful for your local network please let us know by email at information@one-em.org.uk and we will pass your suggestions on to CLINKS.

In the meantime don’t forget the existing resources CLINKS have already produced, including their Guide to influencing your PCC, which can help you frame your arguments in ways that fit the PCCs priorities, and the statistical toolkit, which provides data on a range of community safety issues by police force area and can help you to make the case for VCS services.

All SFC resources produced by CLINKS can be downloaded at www.clinks.org/services/sfc/sfcresources.

CLINKS have also created an online learning platform to enable SFC network members to access free e-learning courses and complete them how and when you like.

The courses on influencing and media skills have been designed to offer bite-sized information and support with the flexibility to be completed at your computer, without having to travel or give up a whole day to attend training courses.

For further information on these courses visit www.clinks.org/services/sfc/sfcresources/sfconlinelearning.
