  Equalities Act 2010

  Vetting and barring scheme put on hold
The Home Office has announced that the vetting and barring scheme, under which staff and volunteers working with children and vulnerable adults would have to register to be checked by the Independent Safeguarding Authority, has been halted.

  UK Civil Society Almanac - FREE to all NCVO members
NCVO have announced the release of their UK Civil Society Almanac 2010 which is free to all NCVO members. The Almanac – now in its 10th Edition, reports key trends and characteristics on a range of topics, including funding and finance, spending, employment, volunteering and beneficiaries - focusing on how voluntary organisations at the heart of civil society have changed over the last decade.
